Any estimate or quote provided by Sidney Deck & Fence - whether verbal, written, or submitted through our website - is an approximation based on the information available at the time of estimate. Estimates are not binding contracts. Final pricing is established in a written project agreement signed by both parties before work begins.
Actual costs may differ from estimates if site conditions, material availability, or project scope change after the initial estimate is prepared. Any changes to scope or pricing will be communicated to you in writing before additional work proceeds. We do not charge for initial on-site estimate visits.
Scheduling for project start dates is subject to availability and is confirmed in your written project agreement. We make every effort to begin and complete projects within the agreed timeline. Delays caused by weather, material supply issues, permit processing, or other conditions outside our control do not constitute a breach of contract.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a project, please contact us as early as possible. Cancellation terms, including any deposits retained or fees applied, are specified in your individual project agreement. If no project agreement has been signed, there is no cancellation fee.
Payment terms are established in your written project agreement. In general, residential projects require a deposit at the time of contract signing, with the remaining balance due upon project completion. Sidney Deck & Fence warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with applicable building codes and industry standards. Any workmanship warranty terms are specified in your individual project agreement.
Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers of the products used. We pass manufacturer warranties to you at project completion and will assist you in understanding how to register or maintain those warranties where applicable. We are not responsible for defects in materials that are covered by a manufacturer warranty.
